A transparent process with no surprises: a written quote before we start, prepayment-based workflow, and a month of free support after delivery.
We go through the task, ask the right questions and propose a solution.
We fix the scope, price and timeline in writing. Work starts after prepayment.
We build the system, keep you posted and show intermediate results.
Documentation, access, instructions. Everything works and is easy to maintain.
The biggest fears when hiring a contractor: “they’ll vanish”, “it’ll get more expensive”, “they’ll keep the access”. We close all of them before we start — in writing.
Scope, cost and timeline — in writing, before work begins. “Turned out to be more expensive along the way” is not our style.
Code, servers, domains, access and documentation — on your accounts. Switch contractors at any moment without pain.
For a month after delivery, fixes and consultations on the delivered work are included in the price. If it breaks — we fix it without counting hours.
You write on Telegram — you get an answer from an engineer, not a manager. No “I’ll pass it to the team, we’ll get back next week”.
You could hand the same tasks to a large agency or hire a full-time sysadmin. Here’s an honest comparison: at opsmith you talk to the engineer directly — no account managers in between and no overhead.
| opsmith | Big agency | Full-time sysadmin | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Work starts | tomorrow | 1–2 weeks of approvals | 1–2 months of hiring |
| Entry budget | from $95 per task | from $1,200 + management | from $1,700/mo + taxes |
| Communication | directly with the engineer | through a manager | you still have to find one |
| Who does the work | an engineer who answers personally | a team you never see | one person — vacations and sick days included |
| Automation and self-hosted AI | core specialty | depends on the team | rarely |
| When there are no tasks | you pay nothing | — | the salary keeps running |
Exactly what the quote says. All prices on the site are “from” starting points, but the exact amount is fixed in writing before work starts and doesn’t grow along the way. If you decide to expand the scope during the project — we discuss and fix it separately.
Yes, that’s a common case. We’ll start with an audit: review what’s deployed, find security holes and single points of failure, and give you a cleanup plan with prices. The audit is billed hourly and usually takes 1–2 hours.
For most practical tasks — yes: classification, text generation, command parsing, summarization. A local model on your hardware doesn’t send data anywhere and doesn’t bill you for tokens. For “maximum intelligence required” tasks we’ll tell you honestly where a local model won’t be enough.
For 30 days after delivery, fixes to the delivered work are free. After that — either one-off requests at the hourly rate, or managed administration from $140/mo where we watch the system ourselves.
We work on prepayment, stage by stage: we fix a stage — prepayment — result — next stage. On small tasks it’s usually 50% upfront / 50% after a demo of the result. We work officially; the details are discussed on a call.
Describe your task in a couple of sentences — we’ll get back to you with a solution and an estimate within a day. The initial consultation is free and non-binding.
